In recent days, Beijing Mangrove Tree Resort World Operation and Management Co. Ltd. officially announced the appointment of Ms. Sharon Liu as the Executive President of Mangrove Tree Resort Group. Under the leadership of the board, she will formulate the development strategy and implementation plan, and preside over the daily operation and business performance. At the same time, Sharon also took up the post as the President of Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay, a subsidiary of the management group. She will take full charge of the operation and management of the resort, and be accountable for the operational performance.
Sharon graduated from the University of Leeds Business School in the UK with a Master's degree in International Marketing. After returning to China, she worked for Beijing Mangrove Tree Resort World Management Group from 2005 to 2017, previously as Marketing Director, Deputy General Manager, General Manager of Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort, President of Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay, and Executive President of Beijing Mangrove Tree Resort World Operation and Management Co.,Ltd. Prior to her new position, she served as the Executive President of Cedar Culture and Tourism Group.
Sharon has over 20 years of experience in the cultural tourism and resort industry. As a senior explorer and practitioner in the cultural tourism industry, she has a strong sense of responsibility and mission for the industry and the company. She is a pioneer in team leading, marketing innovation an an expert of meeting challenges and solving difficulties, and has her own unique understanding of the industry development trend and innovative operation. In this new role, Sharon will uphold the innovative concept of "leading the national resort lifestyle"and guide the team to implement the development strategy and achieve the performance goals of the Mangrove Tree brand.

He joined the corporate management training program with Hyatt Group in the United States before coming to China and took up various Rooms Division roles with Marriott in Tianjin, Beijing, and Shanghai. He obtained deep insights and strong business acumen when he was the Market Director of Operations for Suzhou while he overseen 12 Marriott hotels’ overall operations and performances. In the same time, he was also appointed as Resident Manager of Renaissance Suzhou. Mr.Yosanto’s most recent role began in 2019 when he was promoted as General Manager of Four Points By Sheraton Suzhou where he improved hotel’s products and property awareness to lead the hotel be more competitive. John Shen, as recently been appointed General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Riverside Chengdu. He will be fully responsible for hotel overall operation and strategic management. John has more than 20 years of experience in international brand hotel. And steadily promoted from a grass-roots F&B staff to a management position which help him accumulated rich experience in hotel operation and management. He has played for InterContinental, Marriott and Hilton hotel groups. Respectively held important positions in Crowne Plaza Chengdu City Center, Sheraton Urumqi Hotel, Holiday Inn Chengdu Oriental Plaza, Sheraton Wenzhou Hotel and Westin Wenzhou Hotel. Before the new position, John served as the GM of Hilton Chengdu Chenghua. In addition, John also served as the owner representative of DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu - Longquanyi for 3 years. With the professional experience and keen insight, John will lead the team of DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu Riverside to forge ahead, achieve new outstanding performance and create a comfortable staying experience for guests.
Richard Zhou, as recently been appointed Executive Assistant Manager of InterContinental Hangzhou. Richard possesses over 21 years of hospitality experience with strong F&B and Catering Sales background. Richard started his management role in Sofitel Hangzhou Xanadu Resort in 2009 as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, overall in charge of Food and Beverage operation. From 2010, he took the opportunity in Four Seasons Hangzhou West Lake and was successfully promoted to Director of Food & Beverage in 2018. During this tenure, Richard assisted the team to launch Jinsha Chinese Restaurant - the only Three diamond black pearl restaurant in Hangzhou market, and he was also the key contacts organized and handled the visit of 2016 G20 summit delegation group. Before joining us, he was the Director of Food & Beverage in Conrad Hangzhou, contributed to LIAN Chinese restaurant won the One diamond black pearl restaurant of year 2021.

Mr. David Qu has more than 20 years of hospitality experience, including 5 hotels’ pre-opening experiences. Staring from Kitchen, he has worked in many international brand hotels, such as Sheraton, Crowne Plaza, Shangri-La, etc., and has accumulated rich experience in operation and management. Prior to Hilton Suzhou Yinshan Lake, Mr. David Qu served as Director of Operations at Le Méridien Suzhou, Suzhou Bay, where he led the team to exceed the budget of food & beverage, and made customer satisfaction rank the No. 3 of 48 of Le Méridien hotels in APAC.
