TFWA海南特报：海南离岛免税增势持续向好 Hainan’s Offshore Accellerat

最近，那些乐观期待全球免税和旅游零售行业复苏的人士都过的不太好。2020年欧洲机场旅客旅客数量处于绝对负值区域，同比至少下降70％。对于美洲，即使降幅稍小也减少了60％。即便在复苏最快的亚太地区，马来西亚机场也表示过去12个月内旅客减少了75％。与之相比的是，中国旅游零售行业的势头持续向好，尤其是在7月份海南免税新政颁布之后。

Optimists looking for signs of recovery in global duty free and travel retail have had a tough time recently. Passenger numbers at European airports finished 2020 in firmly negative territory, with typical declines of at least 70% versus the previous year. For the Americas, the deficit was smaller but still around -60%. Even in Asia Pacific, predicted to rebound soonest, Malaysian airports reported 75% fewer travellers over the last 12 months. The news from China has been consistently better however, especially from Hainan Island since the offshore duty free allowance was tripled and the range of goods expanded in July last year.
